Witam,

Laptop: Asus GL553VD
Model płyty: GL553VD Rev 2.0

Usterka: nie włącza się, po podłączeniu do zasilacza laboratoryjnego z OCP pokazuje zwarcie.
Na kamerze termowizyjnej grzeje się bardzo mocno tranzystor o oznaczeniu Q8801, jest to mosfet N-MOSFET SM4843NSKC-TRG SOP-8, czy mogę usunąć ten mosfet i spróbować dla testów uruchomić płytę?

Hello!
It's an input protection transistor, so the board will be completely dead if you remove it.

That indicates a short circuit to ground on the main power rail "+AC_BAT_SYS". To confirm, measure the resistance to ground on any pin of resistor R8800.

One or both of transistors Q8801, Q8802 are probably damaged as a result, but they are not a blame for the short circuit. Check them.
