Download and upload schematics

Hello.

In Points information I read this:
Points per attachment in Download/Schemes section 5 Points
Points per attachment in Download section 2 Points
Costs per download of an attachment 10 Points

Does this mean that if I want to download 1 schematic attachment (10 points), I must upload 2 schematic attachments (2 x 5 points) ?

The Points Informations are updated.
Points per attachment in Download section = 2-12 (depend of attachment value).
If the attachment come from older (ex. ICH3-ICH5) platform or, the schematic is popular in other forums, it means less of Points.
If the attachment come from newer (ex. ICH8-ICH10) platform or, the schematic is very rare, it means more of Points.

Is there any option to purchase download points ?

No, still is no option to purchase the extra points.
Maybe we will do the PayPal payments in the future.

It is mostly good because currently only very few people can actually get the files from this forum, which is kind of bad. If you want to download, you must upload. You get some points for posting but this is very very little (0.10 points per post) and it's also a Polish forum. And you must upload more than you are allowed to download, which is again rather unfair. And not many people have that many schematics to upload. For example you can upload 5 schematics and if the administrator gives you only 2 points per each schematic you will have max 10 points so you can download only 1 schematic, even if it is old or unpopular. For upload you will get 0-10 points but for download you will always lose 10 point regardless of quality of schematic. I think ratio 1:1 would be good. After all, the administrators check (filter) all uploads so there can't be any cheating.

I think administrators get the most use out of this forum and users not so much. For example I registered here to download files and I do upload also but I have to wait 1 day before they approve my upload and I get only 2 or 3 points for my upload so I need 3 uploads just to download one old schematic which I need. It is too hard to get what you need for your work on this forum at the moment. For me if would be no problem to pay. At least it would be fair and fast. But I don't like to upload my whole collection of schematics just for downloading a few files here. This forum has a lot of files but how can people download ? Almost impossible. If they don't have many schematics to upload (most people don't) then they can't use this forum at all. Maybe with posts ? 100 posts for 1 download file. Not normal.

Also, sometimes there are small files to download, like POWER BD LS-4851P.pdf [56.17 KiB]. For this 56 KB file you lose 10 points. Very unfair. So I think people will prefer to pay a small ammount to download rather than upload 5 schematics for only 1 download. But I am afraid that the price for 1 download will be 50 EURO on this forum. :-)

Hi, one can easily get the impression as if one wants to refers to this forum only as a kind of depository or shop where one can grab the only and ultimate stuff - the schematics, whereas the main idea here is to help each other by sharing knowledge and experience. In fact, if you'd go through the forum you'll find loads of cases where a particular area diagram has been provided for free to help in solving a problem.

Btw: There is only one administrator and founder of this forum.

The one true purpose of founding this Forum. We don't sell schematics. We won't offer any for money or so. Have You a problem? Go on, tell us about it. We'll do our best to help You. First you say you won't offer any schematics for money and then you say that you spent a lot of money buying them and ask why we can't do the same. Well, offer them and we will buy them. Why do you hide them so much ? If you have this forum to HELP us then please .... HELP us. Give the schematics to download or offer them for purchase if you need to get some money back. You are contradicting yourself.

95% of people here WANT to download schematics but they CAN'T because you hog them too much. It's TOO HARD to get them from you. If you want to help then open yourself more.

I personally would buy the shematic without any problem. I don't have time to spend 2 hours on forum. I want to come here, pay with PayPal, download and repair. Simple and fast. Time is important. I hope some day I will be able to do that here. If other people want to chat on forum that is great, but some of us can't all the time, but we still need a good resource of material or information, even if it is for money. Better for money than for free and impossible to get.

You didn't understand a word. The fact we bought them, doesn't mean we have to resell them. Second thing, there are many sites where You can buy schematics, why do You want to buy them here so much? We only share documentation with people who share knowlegde with us. It's not a commercial place & please let us leave it that way.

Swiwer - you must understand, it's impossible to sell a CONFIDENTIAL documentations.
We really want to make all forum content possible to purchase without any law consequences.
Unfortunately, in our country it's a law-prohibited and severely punished.

We must strictly act within the polish law.
