Hi all,
i have an lenovo yoga 3.14 (80jh) laptop and will not power on and or charge,
Mainboard model: BTUU1 NM-A381 REV: 1.0 measured the battery voltage 0.00v dead flat.
checked for shorts not see anything, checked mosfets, fuses and caps around battery and input. ive missed something i managed to charged the battery, once charged placed the battery back into the laptop and powered up.
i wasn't getting negotiating voltage 19v only 5v. so i replaced the pu101 (BQ24715RGRR), once replaced i was getting negotiating voltage 19v but blinking white light 3sec interval. battery was charging until, mosfets PQ301, PQ302 both went up in smoke as well as PU301 (TPS51716RUKR) was so hot to touch. replaced all components. battery had some charge laptop came back to life.
i have replaced the battery as it was degrading and tried another powerpack, still have the original issue.
I'm an extreme newbie to smd electronics and electronic in general. but willing to learn.
Any guidance will be appreciated.
