X96 Mini Android TV Box No Power

Model : X96 Mini Android TV Box
Board id : Q6X V2.2 17355

TV Box not power on. EMMC and S20BJA (DC to DC) shown in red arrow with picture are very hot when connect with adapter. Finally S20BJA blown out. I find the good one and replace with bad one, but the same happen. When i remove EMMC, it's ok. No short and power on with red led. I try to change another EMMC, but the same. When EMMC connect, it's short and not connect it's not short. What happen? How to find the actually shorted items.

Have you measured the resistance to ground on the SMPS coil, with EMMC on and off the board? The coil you need to measure is the one of those two next to DC socket, between LAN transformer and solid state capacitor - you need to determine which one is directly connected to the S20BJA which gets hot, and measure the resistance to ground without connecting any power.

Rresistance to ground on the SMPS coil -
- 137 Ohm with EMMC
- 215 Ohm without EMMC

This Coil does not directly connect with hot/blown one. It's connect with other S20BJA (beside the blown one).

You have TWO coils next to DC socket - please find attached photo. You must determine which of those 2 coils is connected to the hot/blown S20BJA and measure the resistance on that particular coil.

There is No Coil directly connect with hot/blown S20BJA. Only connect with beside one (S20BJA).
