HP 15-CS0993NL blinks caps 5 time + 3 fast (Main DA0g7BMB6DO)

Good evening friends of the forum. This laptop enters me with the defect that when I give the power on, the fans start but the led of the caps lock starts flashing 5 times slow and three fast. According to HP, these flashes indicate a long waiting time for the bios. I tried to reprogram the bios eeprom several times with different dumps, I downloaded the original bios from the hp site, I decrypted it but nothing to do. I tried to reprogram the kbc it8987E with dumps found on the net but nothing to do.

As a last test I tried to cancel the internal flash of the kbc, disconnected the power, reconnected and wait 10 minutes for the auto reprogramming but same problem. the mainboard absorption is 0.40A. I checked the resistance of the coils and in particular on two coils near the cpu I find a resistance of 0.85 Ohm. My doubt is whether the hybrid is broken. I attach photos

Hi coils on photo are vcc core resistance below 1ohm is certainly bad, I've got same board right in front of me and resistance on those two coils is 7.5ohm , looks like hybrid is shorted , you can remove one of those coils (as this is same line) and check on which side resistance is low if it's on hybrid side then most likely its bad , you can perform short circuit test applyig no more then 0.8v on this pad

Yes Matic, kbc has been auto reprogrammed, checked.

Thanks Marcin, the low resistance is in the side Hybrid. I injected a voltage of 0.8V and the bench power supply showed me short. I went up to 1.80 A and the short light went out but the hybrid cpu or chipset does not heat up. I noticed a line on the CPU die , i think cracked.

Yes, the APU hybrid with such a crack is definitely damaged.
