Find the data sheet of your original diode (VSB3200) and read the most important data from it. These are the diode type, max. repetitive peak reverse voltage and max. average forward current.
In your case they are:
Diode type= Schottky rectifier
Max. repetitive peak reverse voltage= 200V
Max. average forward current= 3A
Note that the max. repetitive peak reverse voltage and max. average forward current of the replacement diode may also be greater than the original one, but not smaller.
Go to the website, where you want to buy the replacement diode, for example TME.
Find all Schottky diodes available: Go to the "Semiconductors" -> "Diodes" -> "Schottky diodes" -> "THT Schottky diodes" and now enter the most important data to the "Filters":
Type of diode= Schottky rectifying
Max. off-state voltage = Max. repetitive peak reverse voltage= 200V or more (enter >=200 in the box)
Semiconductor structure= Single diode
Load current= Max. average forward current= 3A or more (enter >=3 in the box)
According to the data entered, you should find about 200 suitable replacement diodes. But you probably also want the replacement diode in the same package as the original one, so also select the Case DO201AD in filters and click to the button "Show products". Now you have only two suitable replacement diodes in the same package as the original one - they are NTE648 or NTE573-2.
