  1. Topic title should contain: the device's manufacturer, full model and the brief description of problem.
  2. Topic message should contain: the PCB marking code (required in case of hardware repairs), an extended description of problem, things you have checked/replaced/measured, your conclusions and the question. If you are not able to find the PCB marking code, please read THIS TOPIC. If you still cannot locate the PCB markings, please upload a clean, both-side photos of the mainboard - it is required to remove any films, modules or brackets possibly covering these markings.
  3. Before posting a new topic please read all topics in TRAININGS subforum and make a preliminary diagnostic based on the content of those trainings.
  4. Uploading of any complete schematics, BIOS / firmware files or any other kind of documentation, or linking to 3rd party websites with such files, is STRICTLY PROHIBITED. You can only upload the small portion of documentation or, link to BIOS file on UNVERIFIED BIOS FILES subforum, which simplifies the diagnostics/repair. You are not allowed to upload more then one complete page of instruction/schematic per single topic. The file you upload must not contain any watermarks, "confidential" markings, links or email addresses and cannot be password-protected.
  5. It is only permitted to describe one faulty device per single topic - you should always open a new topic for each subsequent device.
  6. Requesting of the full schematics, BoardView files, BIOS files or any other kind of documentation is NOT ALLOWED in this subforum. If you need to ask for any of these, you should open a new topic in DOCUMENTATION/BIOS REQUEST subforum.

Hi friends, today i have a BOXNUC8I3BEH to repair. Fisrt, looking this forum, i found a CI (SM3303) in short circuit, i was replace this and problem with power suply gone, but now i know other CI with problem caused inicial problem with SM3303. In this case almost all capacitors are in shot circuit in negative point, with positive point. see picture below

square with red line are in short circuit, in blue looks good
i can't found boardview to check cirtuit lines.

Thanks for all help.

Hello!

- Specify the resistance to ground on any pin of highlighted resistor.
- Measure the resistances on all coils in reference to the highlighted resistor.

Hi friend, thankyou

mensuring resistor to the ground = 0.00 ohns
mensuring resistor to the coils = 0.00 ohns

It's strange there resistance is so low. Check the whole board for any mechanical damage or "dross solder".
If everything seems fine, perform a short circuit test described here on measuring resistor. Make sure to use thick enough test cables (at least 1.5mm^2). For a short circuit test limit the voltage to 1V.
You may need a bench power supply with a high current capability (up to 10A) to find a shorted component.

after remove coils A, B and C and both this two capacitors, with continuity scale, negative in point R, positivite in coils we have this mensurings

Point R to:
A= 479
B= 507
C= 490

with resitor Ohn scale positive at point R (scale 2000K)

A=1560
B=1434
C=1277

i'm starting belive this board have a problem in APU core i3- 8109U, because i have a lot of short circuits in various capacitors, both sides os this board.

Measure the resistance on points "A", "B", "C" in reference to the measuring resistor. The coils must be removed from the board. Perform the measurements with the multimeter on Ohm mode of course.
