Intel NUC NUC8i3BEB spalony kondensator, nie uruchamia się

Witajcie!

Problem dotyczy urządzenia Intel NUC, a dokładnie NUC8i3BEB. Nie znam historii urządzenia, ale po otwarciu okazało się, że spalony był kondensator:


Po jego usunięciu, płyta dalej nie uruchamia się. Po podłączeniu zasilacza, zapala się na chwile LED: SATA_PWR STBY i następnie płyta umiera. Nie znalazłem schematu, jak również nie widzę żadnych napięć na płycie - wszędzie wchodzi 19V i za przetwornicami jest 0V.

Pobór płyty 0mA.

Wstawiłem losowy kondensator zamiast tego spalonego - brak zmian. Z góry dziękuję, za jakieś sugestie.

Measure the voltages to ground on pins 1, 3, 6, 8, 9, 11 of marked chip.

Chip pinout:

Pin 1: 19,21V
Pin 3: 0V
Pin 6: 3,34V
Pin 8: 3,37V
Pin 9: 3,65V
Pin 11: 4,24V

Measure the resistance to ground on the coil marked "1R5" located near this chip.
If the resistance is high (in kΩ range or greater), replace that chip (it's NB680GD).

Resistance is 32,4Ω on this coil. Still should I change that chip?

No, this resistance is definitely too low.
Remove this coil from the board and check on which side you have a low resistance to ground. If the low resistance is present on the system side (the pad connected to three capacitors near it), perform a short circuit test described here (lesson #3) on this pad. For a short circuit test limit the voltage to 3.3V.

Low resistance is from system side. Short circuit test on this pad - current consumption is 236mA and after one seconds drops to 130mA. I cannot find any thing warm.

Probably, only SU1 (TPS65982) can be little warm.

Also pay special attention to the small cores of the APU hybrid if any of them get a little warm.

Nope, only SU1 is warm. Should I remove and check resistance? Can I try turn on motherboard without SU1 if it is USB-C controller?

Right now on this coil is 1,3kΩ and looks like motherboard is waiting for boot up. What with burned capacitor? Do you know what kind of capacitor should be there?

Use a continuity tester and check if one pin of this capacitor is connected to the ground. Also check if another pin of this capacitor is connected to any pin of the chip U13. If so, specify to which pin exactly.

The value of this capacitor is most likely 100nF/25V, package 0402.

I used 100nF/50V, but motherboard still don't want boot up. I can find only 3,3V on coil "1R5". Probably yesterday one time motherboard started for around 5 seconds and died again - it was "self" boot up to 350mA. RTC battery after night drops to 2,2V.

How about the resistances to ground on the marked three coils?

Yes, exactly. Perform a short circuit test with a voltage limit of 1V and check which component heats up. Pay special attention to the APU hybrid.

Only one core is hot, 1,9A current consumption.

The APU hybrid is unfortunately damaged and needs to be replaced.
