Hello everyone,i just want to share a solution i found for fixing Dell XPS M1530 with AC adapter unknown issue.I found a shorted mosfet Q32 close to the connector for the adapter input board.After changing it the system was able to recognise the adapter type and subsequently charge the battery.
Note:when testing after changing the mosfet,make sure you connect the board with the cmos battery.
